Today MDR SACHSEN is in Belgians! What is going well, where is the catch and what moves you? Come along, take a look behind the scenes and simply bring your topics with you.
Rolandpark in Belgern is now a meeting place for anyone who is curious, has questions or just wants to get in touch with us from the MDR. Under the motto "Your place. Your Topics" is the MDR's guest in the city. MDR SACHSEN has been inviting people to exchange ideas since 10 a.m.
Whether praise, criticism or your own topics: here you can talk directly to us, uncomplicated and open. Come by! Thank you, Belgern-Schildau! ❤️ That was a great day with many exciting conversations and encounters.
We take a lot of topics with us, stay tuned for you and of course continue to report from Belgern-Schildau. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We'd love to come back! Live is live: Now it's off to the square Today, the Sachsenspiegel not only broadcasts live from the Stadthalle.
Our cameras are also available outside on the pitch. The district administrator is currently in talks there. Sachsenspiegel together look Inside is broadcast, outside is watched: on the square in front of the Stadthalle, Belgians and firefighters follow the Sachsenspiegel live on the flat screen and see what is happening in the Stadthalle. Another rehearsal with the emergency services of the fire brigade Belgians Everything ready for the live broadcast?
Preparations for the evening are already underway in front of the Stadthalle. The SACHSENSPIEGEL broadcasts live from Belgians today from 7 pm. The show will be moderated by Susann Blum. But first things first: test cameras and prepare everything for the live broadcast.
For Susanne Langhans especially after Belgians Uwe Leisebein came especially from Leipzig to get to know weather moderator Susanne Langhans personally. He had an exciting story in his luggage himself: In Leipzig, a street bears the name of his great-grandfather. An autograph from radio man Maik Teschner from MDR Sachsenradio chatted with the Belgians and also fulfilled autograph requests. Youth fire brigade girls knot knot knot is not equal to knot.
The most important knots are already being practiced in the youth fire brigade. Something is happening for children, but overall more could go wrong The Belgians are happy about the new daycare centre, they tell our presenter Lukas Meister. But as the children get older, the offer becomes thinner. There could be more opportunities for young people.
And a little more gastronomy would also do the city good. In Bockwitz, you sometimes grab Nora Glöckner from Bockwitz, a district of Belgern-Schildau, and wish something happened at the playground. The playground equipment had aged, and the slide was far too steep for children. Her husband Gerald Büttner also has a nice story to tell: When Bockwitz wanted a new station house and the city lacked the money for it, the inhabitants simply built one themselves.
The material provided the city. Many clubs, but where to go to celebrate? Olivia Schneider from the city is particularly proud of the many clubs in Belgium. But she also wants a suitable place for smaller events.
From their point of view, the Sagittarius would be ideal for this. After all, the Stadthalle is not the right size for every occasion. A new equipment house would be nice firefighter Eric from the fire brigade Belgians has one wish: a new equipment house. But he doesn't want to complain.
He is happy about the new emergency clothing and is grateful that something has already been done there. GDR gastro in the former stoneware factory Today at noon, Matthias and his wife Michaela Lehmann and their team made food for the comrades of the fire brigade. Satisfied and satisfied, they went back to the fire brigade festival in Rolandpark, reports Michaela Lehmann in an interview with MDR SAXONY. Preparations for tomorrow's "GDR buffet" have been underway since the early afternoon.
According to Michaela Lehmann, this is the first time this is taking place. 50 guests have already pre-ordered. If you register by tonight, you can still be there tomorrow from 11 o'clock, according to Lehmann. Historic vehicles and a lot of blue light There is also a lot to admire in Belgians today: Historic emergency vehicles make for real eye-catchers and of course a lot of blue light should not be missing.
The weather with Susanne Langhans live from Belgians Susanne Langhans sends the weather report live from Belgians today. But first, a meeting with cinematographer Antonia and make-up artist Heike. The district administrator also visits Belgians District Administrator Kai Emanuel has also come to Belgians. In an interview with SACHSENSPIEGEL reporter Roland Kühnke, he says that without the fire brigades, rural life would also look completely different.
"We need them for security, but also for the camaraderie in the small communities, the small communities, that's just part of it." Your opinion is important to us! Moritz (left) and John collect your wishes. What do you expect from MDR reporting? Ranked # 1 so far: Reports on people, places and events directly from the environment.
Cakes, spirelli and pork from the skewer Several clubs, day-care centres and organisations offer food and drinks. There will be Spirelli with tomato sauce at the stand of the German Red Cross. Other stands offer sausage goulash, cakes and grilled pork from the skewer. In addition, there is cotton candy for younger visitors and lots of cake.
Fire brigade at your fingertips The hands-on offers are particularly popular with younger visitors. Children design their own badges on the button machine of the Torgau-Oschatz district youth fire brigade. Again and again, a small snake forms there. Two fire brigade mascots also walk through the grounds, which are available for souvenir photos and are popular photo opportunities, especially with families.
"Water march!" is the motto of the fire brigade game: there, children can aim a jet of water at a symbolic fire and try out for themselves what an extinguishing operation feels like. If you are interested in technology, you can take a look at the drone of the Arzberg fire brigade. The emergency services show how the aircraft can be used in operations. Live from Belgians Under the motto "Your place.
Your topics."we listen carefully in Belgians. MDR Saxon reporter Barbara Brähler has already shaken many hands and had exciting conversations. Bruschetta and fire truck for a good cause The Anne Frank Daycare booth is used for slicing, roasting and filling. On offer today are, among other things, a "fire station " with tomato butter, a variant with date cream and bruschetta.
There is also the "fire extinguisher cocktail". Behind the counter are employees of the nursery, supported by parents and grandparents. The income should benefit the daycare centre and finance, for example, excursions or other offers for the children. While the adults strengthen themselves, the youngest can get creative at a craft station.
Meet the MDR SACHSEN team in Belgians The MDR has arrived: the pavilions are in Rolandpark, the technology has been set up, and the first visitors are already passing by. If you have always wanted to know how contributions to the radio, the SACHSENSPIEGEL or the live blog come about, today you have the opportunity to talk directly to the MDR makers. Colleagues from the editorial office, radio, online and television will be on site at the MDR Saxony stand throughout the day. The programme includes talks, glimpses behind the scenes and, of course, a lot of exchange about the topics that move Belgians and the region.
Just come by, talk to us and tell us what is going well on your doorstep or where you see a need for action. That is exactly what we are in Belgians for today. Blue light mile started in Rolandpark Belgern On Saturday, Rolandpark is all about the work of fire brigades and aid organisations. The occasion is the 20th anniversary of the district fire brigade association and the district youth fire brigade Torgau-Oschatz.
Among others, Christiane Schenderlein, member of the CDU Bundestag, and Kai Emanuel (CDU), Northern Saxony's district administrator, were on site for the opening on Saturday morning. Fire brigades and aid organisations present themselves on the site with technology, information stands and hands-on offers. Visitors can see historic and modern emergency vehicles up close. Demonstrations and actions for families are planned throughout the day, including drone deployments, youth firefighting exercises and firefighting demonstrations.
