State development plan: SPD wants to pass quickly, CDU still sees a need for clarification

It is a permanent theme that still has no end: the regional development plan. The predecessor government of the CDU and SPD had already made an attempt to revise it – and failed. A new attempt was launched by the SPD's sole government around three years ago. Criticism and suggestions came from the municipalities – in large numbers. After lengthy revisions, the further course is now apparently tightened.
