As the police announced late Thursday evening, the recovery of the overturned truck is complete and the B51 between Hohensonne and Newel (Trier-Saarburg district) can be driven on again.
Life-threatening injury to a human being
According to the police, the driver was critically injured in the accident. The driver of the truck suffered serious injuries. There was also a dog in the car that is being cared for in a veterinary clinic.
The police determine whether the two vehicles collided or whether there was an evasive manoeuvre.
