Poland is alarmed by attack on train to Warsaw

Tusk warned of a possible further worsening of the situation. Together with the allies, we must be prepared to react if the attacks should also affect Polish territory in the future. Previously, Russian drones had struck Ukraine, only a few kilometers from Polish territory. A passenger train had also been hit in Ukraine, leaving the occupants uninjured. In addition, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha and the local customs authority said that another Russian drone set fire to a Ukrainian gas station near the Polish border. Both Ukrainian and Polish authorities report that the Russian military also shelled a truck not far from the Polish border. The nearby Ukrainian-Polish border crossing was temporarily closed.
